Prepare For Your Future 大学 and Career Plans

King’s Way 高中 offers several innovative study opportunities for our students to excel academically while preparing them for their future college and career plans. 在2023年冬天, King 's Way推出了通路, which outlines multiple ways that students can earn college credits while in high school.

The program also added a couple of ways that a student can earn a KWCS diploma to give students options to fit their unique learning style.

Students have the opportunity to take classes through Clark 大学 during the school year in order to complete their high school curricululm as well as earn college credit. These credits will most likley transfer toward a 4-year degree. 如果学生仔细计划, they have the opportunity to graduate from high school with an Associate of 艺术 degree. 

• Clark courses are aligned with high school graduation requirements outlined by the WA State Board of Education.
• 除了州的要求, KWHS students take a Bible class for each year they are enrolled at KW. 圣经课程在KW的校园里进行.
• Students are triple enrolled at KW, their public high school, and Clark 大学.
• There are three terms at Clark during the school year (as opposed to 2 semesters).
• 课程为期12周. Students take an average of 2-3 classes each term for a maximum of 45 quarter credits each academic year.
• 4 on-campus KW courses are required for athletic eligibility as outlined by WIAA requirements.
• Additional registration and textbook fees through Clark apply for each term

GCU双注册课程

We also partner with Grand Canyon University and their online dual enrollment college courses to extend opportunities to earn college credits in areas like psychology, 犯罪学, 以及微积分AB以外的高等数学.

• 所有课程为7周在线课程. Students would not take more than 2 courses at a time and can complete an average of 6 to 7 courses each year.
• Offering a­ffordable per course fees that vary depending on if a student chooses to work on or off­-campus.
• Bible courses can be taken online through GCU.
• Some on campus coursework is required in order to fully meet WA state high school graduation requirements especially in science and social studies
• Great selection of biblically based general education college courses.
• 4 on-campus KW courses are required for athletic eligibility as outlined by WIAA requirements.

并发信贷 & 大学先修课程

We currently offer 29 credits of concurrent credit through Northwest Nazarene University and a total of 12 Pre AP/AP/大学 Level, 兼修学分课程. These credits transfer to the vast majority of colleges throughout the country; more details will be provided when the time comes to register for classes.

AP & 大学水平课程:

  • Students can pay to take the AP exam and/or pay for college credits through NNU
